Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups whole milk 
  • 1 ½ cups heavy cream 
  • 4 large eggs
  • ½ cup granulated sugar 
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon 
  • 1 loaf (14-16 ounces) stale challah or brioche bread, cut in 1-inch cubes
  • Powdered sugar, for garnish 
  • Fresh berries, for garnish 
  • Maple syrup, for garnish

TIP: Don’t have stale bread? Cut the bread into 1-inch cubes and place on a sheet tray in an even layer and allow to sit out overnight

1.    Add milk, heavy cream, eggs, sugar, vanilla extract and cinnamon to the CleanCrisp™ Glassware and whisk to combine until sugar is dissolved. 
2.    Add bread into the XL Glass Basket and using a spatula gently fold the bread into the wet mixture until evenly coated then allow to soak for 5 minutes. 
3.    After 5 minutes, place CleanCrisp™ Glassware in the TOP POSITION.
4.    Press the FUSIONCRISP button. Turn the dial to set microwave time to 10:00 minutes. Press the AIR FRY button, turn the dial to 10:00 minutes. Press dial to start cooking.
5.    When cooking is complete, use oven mitts to remove CleanCrisp™ Glassware from unit, and allow to cool for 5 minutes then garnish with a dusting of powdered sugar, fresh berries and a drizzle of maple syrup and serve immediately.
