How to clean a Shark fan

When the fan is turned off, wipe down the exterior with a microfiber cloth dampened with warm, soapy water. Avoid excess water and abrasive chemical cleaners to prevent damage.

Dust Defense Filter (TurboBlade):
Remove the Dust Defense panel from the unit by gently pulling on the finger tab — the mesh filter does not need to be removed from the panel. Use a vacuum cleaner on low speed with a soft brush attachment, or a cloth/towel, to remove debris from the panel and the internal mesh screen. Do not use abrasive chemical cleaners.

Can I use a fan when sleeping?

For most people, sleeping with a fan is perfectly fine and can even improve sleep comfort by circulating cool air and providing white noise.

Tips for allergy-friendly fan use:

Clean fan blades regularly to prevent them from blowing dust around.
